Demonic or Iconic?
It’s hard to avoid the tidal wave of news reports this morning; they are predominantly splashed with that recent mugshot of Donald Trump taken during his arrest in Georgia. To say the picture paints a thousand words would be to understate the visceral reaction it elicits. Trump, with his distinctive hair and deeply tanned complexion, looks, for lack of a better term, absolutely demonic in this shot!
While one could argue about the technicalities of photography – lighting, angle, expression – this image appears to capture more than just a physical likeness. It’s as though the lens has managed to unveil a side of him that has long been debated and discussed, yet rarely seen so vividly.
